1 Thessalonians 5:18 (ESV), "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."

This week God has been working in the lives of so many students across Sioux Falls. On Monday I met with a group of 14 athletic students. I heard so many testimonies of what Jesus had done throughout the year with them. One student shared how he had come into the group not sure of who God was. He wasn't sure whether he would go to heaven or not. He then shared how God had transformed his heart and life throughout this year. This had happened by the study of the word of God and praying to receive Christ. I am jumping up and down and giving thanks to God for His Kingdom being expanded through the lives of these young men.

On Wednesday after school in a coffee shop, I had the amazing privilege to pray with a middle school student to receive Christ. His heart was to repent of his sin and for the first time put his trust in Jesus. His life before coming to know about Jesus has been filled with Hindu gods. So, I give thanks to God in this circumstance. Jesus is the one that already had been working in this young man's life.

There are too many other stories that have happened this week where I am giving God thanks. Truly in every circumstance God is working out all things for good to those that love Him and are called according to His purpose. My prayer is that Jesus would continue to be given glory for what He is doing in students and across Sioux Falls.

Prayer Requests:

• Pray for the Celebration Dinner: the RSVPs, the details, and that God is glorified.

• Pray for groups to continue to develop and multiple throughout the summer.

• Pray for students as they go on missions trips and summer camps and for their lives to be transformed.

• Pray for Collision staff and our families.
