We all know during this time our schedule gets full with Christmas shopping, wrapping presents, Christmas traffic, Christmas parties and more. Ministry is the same, it can consume us and take up our life, there are always people who need this, that or the other. It can become 24/7 if we let it. In all of this we cannot neglect two very important things:

1. Our time and relationship with Jesus; Praying, Reading, Worshipping etc.

2. Our families.

We must ensure we put Jesus first in everything we do, our family second and everything else below that.

Don't confuse ministry with Jesus. Just because we are in ministry doesn't mean we are putting Christ first. It can so easily become ministry, Jesus and then family. We have to ensure that Jesus is our main focus, not just during this full and crazy time of the year, but every day.

He has to be the center of all we do. Without Him, we can do nothing.

So this season, let's take time on our own away from everything to pray for our own families and spend time with Jesus.

Be Blessed,

Ian Sadler and the Collision Staff

Pray that students and Christians in general take this opportune time during Christmas to share the gospel and that the ultimate gift of eternal life will be received by many.

Here is a powerful explanation of the good news of Christmas. Maybe there is someone you can pass this on to who needs to hear it today.

In 1854, a young Charles Spurgeon preached his Christmas Eve sermon on Isaiah 7: 14-15. Using Spurgeon's words from that sermon, an original score and a collection of animated paintings, this Christmas video illustrates the wonder of the ages, God with us.
