Happy 2016! This is the time of year for reflecting over the past year and looking forward to what new adventures we will take. As I look back over the past 6 months of working for Collision, I am amazed at how God has moved. He is working in and through this ministry to touch the lives of students in the Sioux Falls area. I stand in amazement of His blessings. I have personally seen God move in the lives of the children I have been blessed to work with in the schools.
God opened many doors for Collision in first semester of this year. We have expanded into new schools, built stronger relationships with local churches, and have many new volunteers working along side us to reach the youth of this city.
As we look ahead at this next year, we are praying for God to open even more doors for Collision to reach even more youth in our city and beyond. We are praying for more volunteers to come along side students and to show the love of Jesus.
As we look forward into 2016 and beyond, we are excited to see where God takes us on this journey. May He be glorified as we spend time with the awesome youth in the Sioux Falls area.
Thank you for all your prayers and support. We are blessed to have so many people standing with us in prayer as we venture into this new year!
Praise:
The staff have returned from break refreshed and have been blessed to spend some extra time with their families.
Praise God for the open door at Ombudsman to bring donuts and build relationships with students.
Praise God for all the year-end gifts that were given to put the ministry in a strong financial position.
We give glory to God because He is our provider.
Prayer Requests:
Pray for the nations that are in Sioux Falls, that the youth would have their eyes opened to see the glorious light of Jesus.
Pray that God provides the resources needed to begin the Native American Outreach.
Pray that God provides a building for indoor soccer for the many cultures that are represented in our youth.
Pray that God raises up more students that are willing to live on mission for Christ.
Ask God for more salvation to happen throughout the youth in the city.
Pray for healing and restoration for the youth being affected by so much brokenness in the families.
