Growth In The Lord

God has blessed us with another day that we did nothing to gain. Thank You, God, for your mercy endureth forever.
This week I have been thinking about how I want to GROW in the Lord. I want to grow in my WILLINGNESS, AVAILABILITY and HUMILITY to be used by God WHENEVER-WHEREVER. I want the fire that is within me to rage so much that it brings WARMTH and LIGHT to those that are cold and bound in darkness. Not my will but the Father's will be done!
Isaiah 6:7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. 6:9 And He said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
How do you want to grow in the Lord this week?
PRAISE:
The school assemblies with the iThinkBig team were amazing. The iThinkBig team poured out their hearts and students were inspired to dream bigger for their lives.
At the end of the assembly, students wrote on bricks that were then broken. This represented overcoming obstacles keeping students from their dreams. The iThinkBig team kept speaking to the students that there is greatness in each of them and that they can break through the obstacles in their lives!
Student outreaches were held at parks everyday last week, with Collision student leaders sharing their stories. About 25-30 students accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior throughout the week. Many seeds were planted and students felt the hope of Christ. We are proud of the Collision students for actively reaching out to their peers.
PRAYER REQUEST:
Pray for students to desire growth in the Lord and to be used by Him.
Pray for volunteers as they get connected to students. Students are hungry to meet together.
Pray that students that made commitments to follow Christ will get connected to churches, Collision, adults and students who love Jesus, or anyone who can help disciple them.
Pray that God will be glorified through the student leaders as they approach the end of the school year.
