Encourage One Another

Hebrews 10:24-25 "and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near."

I had all six of my kids around the table for lunch on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. The times we are all together has become rare because five out of six of them are adults. It’s a great reminder for me to not forsake our assembling together as Hebrews tells us. I need to take the opportunities I have with my kids to encourage them to love and do good deeds. Pointing out to them the good things they are doing encourages them to continue to do it. Listening to them and helping them process the world around them from a biblical worldview helps put the focus on God. Sharing with them my struggles and how God has helped me shows them God’s faithfulness. Hearing each other’s stories empowers them because they know that they are not alone. I want to encourage you, even amongst busy schedules, to gather your family around the table and stimulate one another to love and good deeds. As with my family, the time they start spreading out will come all to quickly. PRAISE:

• One of the Roosevelt guys Collision groups went to Falls Park to witness last week. The guys and those they talked with were blessed and it was a powerful time.

• Many students have been discussing the impact that Collision is having in their lives and in others’ lives.

• Thank God for His many answered prayers and that we have a testimony to share through these prayers.

Prayer Requests:

• Pray for all the final preparations for the Celebration Dinner.

• Continue to pray that God would continue to work and we would see even more students impacted for Him before this school year finishes.

• Pray for the final outreaches of the school year.
