It has been a wonderful summer for Collision. At the end of August, we hosted an end of the summer park party for the middle school students. We played games and had snow cones and cotton candy. But the best part was sharing Jesus with the kids. Carla Schwartz shared the gospel message and asked the kids to take a few moments to think about their relationship with Jesus. When the kids came back to the picnic area, God moved the staff into groups of kids to discuss their thoughts on how to have assurance of heaven. I was able to talk to a group of middle school girls about their relationship with Jesus. After discussing what they know is Truth, I had the privilege of empowering them to share the Good News with their family and friends. Other staff members prayed with students to know God in a deeper way. It was the best park party we have ever had!
We are excited for this newschool year. God has big plans for the students in the Sioux Falls area! We as a staff, have been challenged to be a witness to our family and friends so we can model this to the students. God is moving in our hearts to motivate our students to be the light in the darkness. As we begin to share the Gospel and then those who receive it share the Gospel, we start a domino effect of multiplication in our city.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witness in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

Praise:
Charlie Sanders and Jon Setzer were at one of LifeLight's prayer tents this past weekend and prayed with many who gave their lives to Christ.
Prayer Requests:
For this first day for the public middle and high school students and staff in Sioux Falls.
That many teens will proclaim Psalm 25:4-5, "Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day."
For returning and new volunteers who will be investing in the lives of teens through Collision this school year.
