Chapel at Sioux Falls Christian High School

We had a chapel at Sioux Falls Christian yesterday where John Glasser, Charlie Sanders, and I were able to share many opportunities for students to get involved in Collision. We led worship, I shared my testimony, John challenged the student body to obey the Great Commission, and Charlie ended with a message on unity.

Experiencing chapel was honestly crazy. I had a day of preparation yet something felt calming, like I already knew God had a plan and was going to use this chapel for someone. However, it was hard for me to think I could even affect someone. So I just completely said, “God if you want to use me I will let it be all your words”.

Also when I think about the kids during worship normally they don't really get into it, and when I sing in front of people I can't help but completely just sing my heart out. I was worried about judgement, which was wrong, but I was. Then when it started I could feel myself saying it's okay even though I was sweating and shaking!! When I began speaking it was like a thought was put in my head and it just came out.

My prayer is that the high school students at SFC would listen to the calling and not be afraid, and to unite and make a difference :). Join me in praying for these things.

PRAISE:

• For the students who are coming to Christ and are sharing Him with their friends and family!

• Student Leaders from Roosevelt went to Kuehn Park after school today to share the gospel. They were intentional and built relationships.

PRAYER:

• Pray for more student groups that are on fire for the gospel and are starting to win their friends to Christ. Pray for God’s wisdom and understanding in the conversations that they have.

• Many students will gather for See You at The Pole tomorrow morning. Join them in praying for their schools at 7 am.

• Pray that Jesus would become great in our Nation again.
