Being Intentional

One thing that has really been on my heart is noticing the people around me and paying more attention to how I can use my everyday life to benefit them. Normally it was easy for me to go through a day and not think that I need to use this event or this class to reach this person because I have noticed they seem a little off. I didn't choose to see that I can do more and use my gifts more. But then it was even harder to notice that kids in my own school weren't being reached by me or other people. I realized I wasn't intentionally being relational with people. So I praise God this week for showing me this and helping me realize I can't judge their hearts, I can only pray for them in their journey wherever they are and walk with them.
I challenge you today to be intentional in your relationships with others.
PRAISE:
For our volunteers serving in the schools and those serving alongside small groups of students.
For students who have committed to hold each other accountable in sharing the gospel and growing in their own faith.
Prayer Requests:
For students to have a God-given hunger for His Word.
For students to notice those around them outside their sphere of influence and to be intentional in their conversations.
For students to walk in a way worthy and pleasing to the Lord.
That students speak and act in a way that is respectful of all teachers, administrators, and other school staff.
For students to have spiritual wisdom and understanding.
