Trusting God without Limits

I recently heard someone say that ‘if God has spoken then we need to trust what He has spoken.’ Why is it when God speaks, our reaction is to get confirmation about what He spoke to us about? Once we get the confirmation we were praying for, we then need confirmation of that confirmation! Our reaction should be to trust Jesus. He doesn't break His promises, what He has spoken stands firm and doesn't move! It is us who messes things up, not Him! We are the one who creates stress on ourselves when it doesn't need to be that way!
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
When we can have the trust we need in Jesus and let everything else go, imagine what He can do for us and through us because we have taken the limits of God!
My challenge is this, trust God without limits! Let Him use you without limits! See the impossible things became reality when you take off the limits you place on God.
PRAISE:
Students were encouraged as they shared at Worship and Testimony night on Friday. They thought it was great to see how God is working through them at the different schools. It was very encouraging to see all the small groups come together, and to see the middle school and high school students intermixed.
More discipleship groups are beginning each week. The Lord is connecting students with students, and placing just the right volunteer with each group.
Prayer Requests:
That students would trust God without limits. That they would see the impossible things become reality. That they would dream God-sized dreams.
That students would be intentional day-to-day in their interactions with others so that the light of Christ would be seen in them.
That students develop strong spiritual roots: Isaiah 37:31 says, "…Take root downward and bear fruit upward." Pray they would prioritize and make time for God daily.
