“I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers” (Ephesians 1:16). These are the words of Paul, who was truly thankful for those that had received the gospel and were helping him to share it with the world. We at Collision are also so thankful for you. We remember you in our prayers, because you are sending the good news about Jesus to thousands of students every week.
The above picture is from Roosevelt, where God is moving on the hearts of so many young people. There’s a student from Roosevelt who repented of his sin and put his faith in Jesus last Monday. Every day there are students all over Sioux Falls that are hearing the gospel. Some are ignoring the call of Christ, some are receiving the Word, but not repenting, some are hearing and believing and then following Christ.
Thank you for spreading the seedlings of the gospel into young hearts all across our city. There are between 500 to 600 young people meeting in small groups every week to study God’s Word and share the gospel with their friends and family. In addition to that, there are weekly outreaches that are touching between 2,000 to 3,000 students in all the schools in Sioux Falls.
“May the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge, reward you fully for what you have done” (Ruth 2:12).
PRAISE:
More discipleship groups continue to grow each week. One student testified that he really “became alive” when he became part of a group where he was challenged to share the gospel.
Prayer requests:
Pray for students to each develop a strong self-esteem the comes from the confidence of knowing who they are in Christ.
Pray for students to be drawn face-to-face with God, longing for more of Him.
Pray for perseverance for the students who are sharing the gospel as they are rejected, ignored, received with open arms, etc.
Pray scriptures over the students as you read your Bible this week. His Word will not return void.
